about

Written nov. 1987. Remastered 2024.Wrote by Myself.
Never been heard or released before,A song i wrote for fun in the 80's Curiosity killed the cat, was like a type of punky rock song. My best mate Glynn Brassley played a slapping great bassline and keys and The lead shred guitar was played by Alan Thompson. The title was based on the band of the same name & Its based around a character who thinks "Debbi" his girlfriend is obsessed with him. Debbi is about Debbi Peterson drummer of the Bangles who i fancied at the time.
Im remastering the track and releasing it on Bandcamp only ..Rock n Rolllll...😎 BMI.

lyrics

Vs1:
Debbi wants to marry me, Debbi wants to take me away from all this
No she dosen't love me, She just dosen't trust me at all

Vs2:
Debbi wont set me free, Debbi wants to lock me away from all this
She just wants to know, what's goin' on in my mind.

Chorus:
Don't ya know that, Curiosity killed the cat..(Rpt)

Vs3:
Debbi wants to marry me, Debbi wants someone to fight with that's all
She Dosent trust me, she just wants to devour me

Chorus/Solo

Vs4:
I could feed her answers, She would look them up in a textbook
She's a little Devil, & She's in Disguise...

Chorus
